Level 1 Photography : Learning the Camera (January 2025)
Understand the fundamentals of your camera and important aspects of photography in this two day workshop.
This course is ideal for beginners and photographers interested in learning how to have more control of their camera manually.
You’ll learn about the ‘exposure triangle’ and the relationship between: shutter speed, iso, and aperture, as well as focal lengths and depth of field.
8 people maximum for this in-depth discussion and practice on the key elements of taking a photo with a manual camera.
Materials needed for this course include a Digital DSLR camera (digital single-lens-reflex) with manual exposure for the workshop.
A few in-house cameras will be available.
Dates: January 11 & 12
Time: 10:30am - 4:30pm
Location: Three Act Studio

Snacks, coffee and water will be included. There will be an hour break for lunch.
This workshop is a great precursor to the Level 2 workshop.
